The Braille Challenge, a program of the Braille Institute, is the only academic competition of its kind in the nation for students with low to no vision. This amazing, community-building event helps us spotlight Minnesota’s talented students in grades 1-12 as they let their braille skills shine! The Braille Challenge also promotes the importance of braille literacy and motivates students to practice and hone their braille skills–all of which are essential to academic and employment success. Most importantly, this event is a day to celebrate students’ braille skills while also having fun!

In addition to the competition elements, the day will include a keynote speaker, a breakout session for parents and guardians, fun activities, and awards.
