We Share Solar Suitcases
We Share Solar® helps equip students for the future through solar energy education with real world impact. Our program offers a project-based-learning experience with interdisciplinary curriculum and engaging hands-on lessons. Our programs cultivate student interest in renewable energy and real-world challenges, inspiring them to become effective global change-makers.
SSC hosts a lending library to support middle school and high school teachers in the implementation of the program. Through this partnership, STEM Forward teachers have access to a virtual learning platform and a curriculum library, as well as a rotating supply of Solar Suitcase kits (standalone solar electric systems) that come complete with solar lab materials and tools. In addition, each school builds one Solar Suitcase that will be sent to East Africa to be installed in a school or community center that lacks access to reliable electricity.
