Two educators from southeast Minnesota are named Outstanding Educators from the Rochester Area Math Science Partnership. Congratulations to Kristen Seeger (Albert Lea Schools) and Shannon Johnson (Zumbrota-Mazeppa Schools)! This award recognizes educators who demonstrate excellence in teaching, outstanding leadership, and focus on continuous improvement which serves to move students toward high achievement in world-class standards in math, science and technology.
A total of ten educators from southeast Minnesota were nominated for the 2017 Rochester Area Math Science Partnership Outstanding Educator Award. Congratulations to the following eight nominees for their accomplishments and pursuit of growth in STEM education in the community: Bruce Fruitger (Rochester Public Schools), Dr. Cynthia Hanson (Pine Island Schools), Mark Nechanicky (Albert Lea Schools), Matt Cada (Plainview-Elgin-Millville), Natalie Schneider (Kasson-Mantorville), Pam Bagniewski (Rochester Catholic Schools), Steve Moericke (Dover-Eyota Schools), and Valerie Kafka (Rochester Public Schools).
These ten educators will be celebrated at the RAMSP Outstanding Educator Award Ceremony & Dinner on January 17, 2018 at Southeast Service Cooperative.
