Service Mission: To provide an exceptional advisory service for school leaders in southeastern Minnesota by leveraging regional expertise and executing individualized plans of support.
The objective of ACCESS (Administrator Coaching and Counsel from Experienced School Superintendents) Advisory Service is to assist school leaders in meeting district-level and building level outcomes through the alignment of human resources, financial resources, leadership and facilities management. The service is available to superintendents, principals and school board directors in southeast Minnesota. ACCESS Advisors design customized plans of support to develop leadership capacity, maximize resources and build innovative approaches to new and ongoing challenges, situational issues, planning, and project management.
To meet the unique and changing needs of a school district and its leaders, support is delivered in the form of coaching, advisory, training, job-embedded professional development, project management (lead or advisory), and facilitation. Advisors place a high importance on developing regional capacity to strengthen local and regional knowledge and skills, and support innovative approaches to complex challenges. Advisors provide professional learning seminars for school staff and Leadership Intensives
for school boards. The Common Sense Leadership Seminar
is a refreshingly simple approach to leadership development and available for K-12 faculty, staff, administrators, and school board members.
