The Environmental Resource Council, an Anoka-based non-profit, has developed a Contemporary Drug Education guide. The intent of the guide is to provide information, resources, and assist schools in evaluating current drug education philosophies, teaching practices, prevention approaches, and promotion of healthy behaviors.
The program first received an LGIA in 2011, two years into their mobile lab program. In 2016 as LGIA celebrates its tenth annual awards, the program is receiving LGIA’s Top Innovator Award for their continued innovation, increasing reach and meaningful impact.
SSC has partnered with the Association of Educational Service Agencies (AESA) to provide expertise on student loan forgiveness. The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program is eligible to any full-time, public employee. The loan forgiveness amount is individually determined and tax-free.
Individual donations made on GiveMN.org to the Collaborative for Learning and Community will be used to support SSC's student academic programs, including Knowledge Bowl, Spelling Bee, and Student Conferences.
